This week's question is...
What is your favorite type of candy?
I get into phases with candy.... When I have a craving, it is usually for a really nice, dark chocolate bar. Like really dark, 83% is my favorite! Chocolate.... mmm.... 

As for mainstream candy, I always look forward to candy corn. I like having a few pieces, but after that I feel sick. On top of that, each year I have a new obsession. One year it was Kitkat bars, the next it was Three Musketeers, the next it was Reese's.

But when it comes to sweet food, I much prefer a homemade brownie or chocolate lava cake to candy.

  1. My husband and daughter prefer the very dark chocolate also. But I like chocolate sweeter. If I'm splurging on the calories, I'd prefer chocolate to other candy, but you're right. A baked dessert is even better. I like fresh baked cookies. They don't even have to be chocolate.

  3. You and my Mom would get along. She's totally obsessed with dark chocolate. I have to say I'm all about the milk chocolate, but it has to be European. Mmm, so good.

  4. I love dark chocolate too! My favourite is Lindt dark chocolate but I can only eat it in moderation and only like one square thing at a time.
