Today I am happy to be hosting a stop on the blog tour for Finding Somewhere by Joseph Monninger, hosted by The Teen {Book} Scene. Here is a character interview with Delores, I hope you enjoy!

1.) Hattie seems to think that you used Speed just as an excuse to travel westward. What is your side of this?
I love Speed, too. But it was time to get going, to get somewhere, and so I didn't mind when Hattie proposed the trip. Why not? I've always wanted to spend some time with my dad. And a road trip is always good.
2.) What was the hardest part of going cross-country with Hattie? Anything you wish you two had done differently?
Hattie is amazing. We had no real bumps. As long as I live, I'll always love this trip with Hattie. She wears her heart on her sleeve. And she loves horses like no one I ever met.
3.) Did your adventures turn out the way you had hoped? Or did you have other visions of how things would play out?
Well, you never know how something will play out when you begin. I'm not sure what I expected or hoped for....I just went. In that way, Speed was like a hope horse. We wanted him to find his way and by doing so maybe we would see our way clear, too.
4.) Hattie may have gotten her cowboy, but there is still hope for you in your new home! Any criteria for the perfect cowboy boyfriend?
I'm not that into cowboys, although I will admit Punch is one handsome guy. I'm more into the grunge-band, west coast sort of guy. At least I am now.
5.) How are things working out for you now?
Better. I have some hope that I didn't have before. Hattie gave me that. And Speed.

I must say that overall I am really taken with this site. You obviously know what you are talking about as you write with passion. If only I had your writing ability I have bookmarked your website and look forward to additional updates.
