BOOK OBSESSED PERSON:
Woo! The second book in the {insert amazing book you have waited a year for series}!!!! I cannot wait to read this... screw homework, I'm reading it now.TEN MINUTES LATER....
BOOK OBSESSED PERSON:
Who the heck is Voldemort? When did Clary become friends with Grace and why does Ren have a mango statue? Wait! Did they actually kill the tributes in the faction?
VOICE FROM ABOVE:
Don't you wish that you could actually remember what happened in first book?
BOOK OBSESSED PERSON:
Yes! I do! But how could that be possible? I read so much in a year.
VOICE FROM ABOVE:
What if I told you there were people who do the remembering for you?
BOOK OBSESSED PERSON:
That would be better than November Cakes!

This scene is clearly exaggerated, but not by much. I bet not many people can honestly say that this does not happen to them in some way or another. A year is a long time to remember all of those tiny details, especially when you are book obsessed and read so frequently. Andye from ReadingTeen and I were joking on Twitter about how good of an idea a book recap site would be. Then Harmony from Radiant Reads took it seriously and volunteered to be the head of the operation...
BAM! Spoiler Alert was created with six awesome team members (including myself, of course).
Spoiler Alert! was just launched and we are expecting it to really take off. The six team members will be posting as many recaps as we can of already released novels (series and standalones). We hope to build up a big base of YA and Adult recaps. But six people can't get this done alone. We need you! That saying may be slightly overused, but definitely true and effective. Anyone can submit their own recaps, and once approved for accuracy, they will be posted alongside all the other recaps.

Oh how I love this idea! I NEVER remember what happened in books (or movies either!) In fact today, I was talking with 2 girls who just finished Mockingjay and they were telling me what happened because I couldn't remember and honestly, none of it sounded familiar. So this site is going to be so very helpful!
