One of the many reasons I love reading and being involved in the Young Adult community is the lengths that the authors go to in order to get their books out there and engage with the readers. On the other side of that, of course, is how amazingly passionate the readers are for books and authors that they love. Well, fellow readers, it is time that we come together for a special cause.

Basically what sparked the action was a bookstore chain that is refusing to stock Ten when it is released. Instead of being extremely put-down and defeated, Gretchen McNeil became inspired and is ready to fight back. By joining the Army of Ten, you will be using your powers as a reader to spread the word about a book that needs some more help than others. There are five rankings that you can try to achieve, each comes with its own prizes and entries into the larger prize packs. If you are one of the first 40 to obtain the rank of General, not only can you feel really good about yourself, but you will be listed in the acknowledgments of Gretchen's next book, hitting stores next fall. This is a great opportunity that you do not want to miss!
