YA author Tiffany Schmidt ( Send Me a Sign , October 2012) was kind enough to visit the blog today and subject herself to some random this-or-that questions. I mean, interviews are fun, but look how much more you learn about this author through my all-over-the-place questions. Be sure to leave a comment, maybe even answering some of the questions yourself.
1.) Physical Books or Digital Books?
Paper books with two exceptions: when I'm traveling or exercising. This saves me from filling my whole suitcase with books and from having to turn paper pages while working out.
2.) As a child - Picture Books or Chapter Books?
Chapter books! I couldn't wait to graduate to "books without pictures" -- it made me feel so grown up!
3.) Pen or Pencil?
|Happens to me by next read!|
4.) Cuddly or Fierce?
Cuddly. Though fiercely protective of those I love.
5.) Domestic or International?
Lately, domestic. I have toddler twins -- sometimes it's a challenge to make it down the street to story hour at the library. But they do have passports, so one of these days we'll go international again.
6.) Coffee or Tea?
Coffee is one of my most favorite things in the world. I love the smell. I love the taste. I love holding a warm mug. I love writing in coffee shops. I love chatting with friends over cups. And I really, really, really love the caffeine.
7.) Dress Down or Dress Up?
Dress up! Give me an occasion and I'm all about sparkle and make-up. But I'm also all about yoga pants and pajamas.... hmmm. Maybe my answer is actually BOTH.
8.) Smart Car or Fiat?
We had a Smart Car on our honeymoon -- I loved it! Someday when my life doesn't involve two toddlers in car seats, I want one!
9.) (During the Salem Witch Trials) Townsfolk or Witch?
Witch. I am totally an accidental-trouble-magnet.
10.) Dawn or Dusk?
Dawn. I do a lot of my writing in the wee hours before my wee ones wake up.
11.) Zoo or Aquarium?
Aquarium! True story: When I was a tween & my parents decided I was "too old" to need a nightlight (which, *cough* I mostly used to read after bedtime), I requested an aquarium for my bedroom so I could leave that light on all night. I still find watching fish to be so relaxing.
12.) Cute Costume or Scary Costume!
Cute! This year the Schmidtlets will be a monkey and a tiger. I think I'll dress up as a zoo-keeper!
